Welcome back to THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM! Recently, I haven't actually posted anything on any of my blogs, so I thought I'd do something nice for this post. Recently, I've been collecting all sorts of games for my various timelines, and that includes LOADS including James Bond. Now most of you who know James Bond will probably know that in the early 2000's, EA acquired the rights to create video games based on the James Bond character. Some of them were cancelled and never released but that's an entirely different story for another post another time. Their first game which featured an entirely new storyline was one by the name of Agent Under Fire. It didn't use the likeness of Pierce Brosnan, the current James Bond at the time, but it was based on his version. The following year, a sequel called Nightfire was not only released on the same platforms as AUF, but also on PC. So, I've decided to bring up something that hasn't come up anytime that I've searched it: how to free roam in Nightfire. This may seem impossible. No James Bond games are free roam capable. Not one at all. But after looking through the game, I found out something very interesting, and it's all here:
1. Open up your Nightfire game. It should be called "Bond.exe".
2. Select the "Multiplayer" option below "Nightfire".
3. Change "Time Limit" from "10" to "0". This will give you unlimited time to roam.
4. Make sure that "Full server to 60% with bots" is NOT checked.
5. Choose which location you want to free roam in.
6. Press "Start".
7. From here, you can do so many things! Here are some examples:
For additional fun: If you want to play with your favourite characters from the movies or games, go back to the main screen or pause menu and select "Multiplayer" again. From here, select "Team Combat Training" or "Capture the Flag".
Make sure that "Fill server to 60% with bots" IS checked.
Change your time limit so you aren't going to be fighting or taking flags forever.
Choose any map you want. Capture the Flag has a few maps, like Romania, that aren't available in the other two modes.
Enjoy fighting and/or teaming up with your favourite characters from the James Bond universe!
