The Dark Jedi (Demander-class Quumya Corporation FU-124 Emergency Frigate), Hyperspace, 21 BBY
“Telian Aieler. Where’s that?” 3X-A1P scrolled through the map of the galaxy. “I’m sorry, Sir. Nothing generated.” Anakin sat back down. “See if any of those Separatist codes can lead us anywhere.” “This will not be a quick—” “Take your time, Exar. As long as I get an answer.” 3X thought deeply for a short moment, then slowly proceeded out of the control room. Suddenly, Anakin’s comlink beeped. He switched it on, only to here familiar words. “What have you gotten yourself into this time, my young padawan?” Anakin let out a loud sigh, knowing that if he revealed what had happened, he would be in deep trouble. Trouble even deeper than the Pit of Carkoon. So, he changed the subject slightly. “Master Kenobi. How was your mission to Lethor Major?” “Well, my young padawan, you should’ve been there. I persuaded the Thorian Prime Minister to let the Republic deal with the affairs of not only Lethor, but also the entire Nathoron system!” “How did that happen?” Anakin knew he was doing well in changing the subject. “Well, an attack occurred on Lethor while the prime minister was signing the treaty. It was some sort of bounty hunter, from what I know. Now, what did I ask you? Ah, yes, what trouble have you gotten yourself into?” Anakin got up, and walked into the canteen room on the opposite side. “Um, I’m on a mission to find Count Dooku...” “That’s promising. Anything of Master—” “Have you ever heard of Telian Aieler?” Anakin rudely interrupted. “Telian Aieler... No. Have you asked anyone else?” “I have asked Exar.” “As in the Dark Jedi Exar Kun? That’s impossible...” “I mean my new droid, 3X-A1P, aboard the Dark Jedi.” “You named a droid Exar and a vehicle the Dark Jedi?” Anakin rolled his eyes. “First of all,” he explained, “The Dark Jedi was already the ship’s name. Secondly, Exar is better than, say, Asajj, or Teta.” Obi-Wan pretended he never asked. “Send me your coordinates, Anakin. I can meet you wherever you are.” “What if my ship was just swallowed by an exogorth?” “It wasn’t swallowed.” “I’m in Hyperspace.” Obi-Wan paused briefly. “Oh.”

The Jedi Temple, Coruscant, 21 BBY
“The Jedi Council has been awaiting your visit, Anakin Skywalker.” “I can see that, Master Windu.” All 12 members of the Jedi High Council were surrounding Anakin in a rather uncomfortable way. “In orbit of Geonosis, almost killed, you were.” “What’s all this about?” asked Obi-Wan Kenobi. “I was scared to tell you,” Anakin replied. Ki-Adi-Mundi almost stood up, but instead, he continued what Yoda was saying. “Three Vulture Droids outmatched your Jedi Starfighter. Either you are not a good pilot, or you weren’t concentrating.” Obi-Wan turned back to Anakin, who was at his right. “Why weren’t you concentrating, my young padawan?” “I was just trying to defeat the Confederacy...” “By sacrificing yourself to three droids?” Anakin almost erupted with anger. “Count Dooku was there! I could sense him with the Force! If I had just got a little bit closer, I could have killed him and ended this blasted war once and for all!” “Anakin, you must control your anger! Anger leads to the Dark Side of the Force!” Anakin unclutched his fists, and took a deep breath in and a deep breath out. “I am very sorry, Master Kenobi. I promise it won’t happen again, Master Kenobi.” “Good.” Anakin slowly walked out of the Council’s gathering, with his head facing the shining floor, and his arms to the side, straight down. The Council members all looked at each other, and then turned back to Obi-Wan. Mace Windu spoke first, “Something is unleashing a grave anger into him,” then Yoda, “Stay close to him, you must. Monitor his anger, he must.” “Thank you, my Masters. I will keep an eye on him.” Obi-Wan took both Jedi’s advice into account, and slowly paced through the door. He had just walked through the door when something came to his head. He walked back to the Council to ask them one last question. “Have any of you ever heard of a planet named ‘Telian Aieler’?” The Jedi looked at each other for a few seconds, and then all shook their heads. “Wait!” one Jedi suggested, “legend suggests that Sith dominated this planet 3,975 years ago, after the Great Sith War. Does that help you, Master?” “Thank you. It does.”
