Star Wars: Han Solo and the Lost Hungarian Legacy

Welcome back to THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM....

While doing some research across the web, I came across the “Hungarian Han Solo Books” section on Joe Bongiorno’s Expanded Universe website. The stories were published by “Valhalla Páholy” in the early nineteen-nineties. I do not speak the Hungarian language, so the only words I could understand were “Han” and “Solo,” with some other words kind of easy to understand. I have not properly read through any of the books, although I was quite astounded by the copyright section. It appeared that the stories had previously been published as English books, except I didn’t know why a publisher would place an exclamation mark after the “All Rights Reserved” text....

I began to wonder if these were truly official Lucasfilm stories, so I started looking for answers, when I came across Withnail Books’ article on “Han Solo and the Lost Hungarian Legacy.” (The link to this article is: http://www.withnailbooks.com/2015/01/han-solo-and-lost-hungarian-legacy.html) It explains how one day, a book entitled “ErĹ‘prĂłba” was spotted in Budapest. The tale was a story centred on Luke Skywalker, and was written by Alan Dean Foster, with cover art picturing Luke with a shoulder-holster. It was later found out that the story was Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, although the title translated as “Showdown.” A few weeks later, books entitled “Han Solo Hadjárata,” “Han Solo BosszĂşja,” and “Han Solo KĂĽldetĂ©se” were found, and soon revealed to be Brian Daley’s classic Han Solo trilogy ( Han Solo at Stars’ End, Han Solo’s Revenge, Han Solo and the Lost Legacy ). Another book, known as “Han Solo Legendája,” was also found, and is actually a Hungarian reprint of Brian Daley’s The Han Solo Adventures, which collects all three of his books. All the covers were unusual, such as Han Solo in a literal space-suit, further questioning the fact that these were authorized.

Valhalla, the publisher of these books, were actually producing fakery, and later tried their hand at creating their own novels in the Star Wars Expanded Universe timeline. They produced four novels, which were:
·         Han Solo nomádjai (Han Solo at Doomsday’s Edge)
·         Han Solo a birodalmi ĂĽgynök (Han Solo’s Gambit)
·         Han Solo Ă©s a fejvadászok (Han Solo and the Bounty Hunters)
·         Han Solo háborĂşja (Han Solo’s War)

The English translations (which are in brackets above), were proved to also be fake (even though it did make the publication more authentic)! As for the writers, Dale Avery, who wrote the majority of the books, was actually just Hungarian author Zsolt Nyulászi, while Ed Fisher was the name of Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia)’s dad! Lucasfilm later found out about these books, and forced Valhalla to cease these books to exist, except that didn’t matter to “Dale Avery.” He went on to create Császári VĂ©r, which was now his fourth (fifth, if he created “Ed Fisher’s” novel) Han Solo knock-off novel! Even the cover (which pictures a Romulan Warbird from Star Trek, even though the story had nothing to do with that sci-fi series) was a rip-off!

The Lost Hungarian Legacy of Han Solo still remains quite a mystery to the galaxy, but hopefully it will soon be translated by somebody and be able to be read by eager Star Wars fans! See you soon!

Fandom Favourites, Part 1: The Star Wars Expanded Universe Timeline

Welcome back to THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM....

You are probably wondering where I was in the past five or so days, so here’s the answer: I was surfing the web for interesting Star Wars media, when I came across A LOT of awesome things. Gradually, over the course of time I will post links to these different items, but first I would like to post a link to one of my favourite of the websites that I found: The Star Wars Expanded Universe Timeline, by Joe Bongiorno. This website expresses the different points of the Star Wars EU, as well as a great selection of cancelled or no-longer-available Star Wars content, such as Star Wars Adventure Journal stories (Just Business, Light and Shadow, The Contact), the third book in Scholastic’s Adventures in Hyperspace series (The Big Switch), a collection of Star Wars web-comics (Prelude to Rebellion #0, Evasive Action, The Clone Wars seasons 1-3, A Hunter’s Fate), and much more, including Kenneth C. Flint’s UNPUBLISHED Bantam Spectra novel, The Heart of the Jedi, published exclusively for the timeline! So, if you want to check it out (It is amazing!  You have to see it!), here is the link below:
http://starwarstimeline.net

Just to get you started, here is an excerpt from the first page of Joe Bongiorno’s APPROVED story, Supernatural Encounters: The Trial and Transformation of Arhul Hextraphon, which follows the research of Galactic Historian, Arhul Hextraphon:

Arhul Hextrophon sat alone in his study, cogitating on the inveterate, ceaseless stream that was time. The decrescent Chandrilan moon, now dissolving in the pastoral fields of chicory and lyris that grew wild upon the sweet-scented valleys he knew, spurred on his mordant brooding. How long had an ignescent galaxy been consumed by the dying rage of the ignorant, mad, and monstrous? Was peace only reserved for those for whom all endeavors ceased, or were the dead embroiled in yet other toils?

Arhul recalled with fondness Mon Mothma and others long departed who had given their lives to ensure that freedom from bondage and fear could be shared by all, a cause he once fervently shared. Now he wondered if it was all folly and naive idealism. What purposes did all the suffering and shed blood serve if for only a few months of peace before evil arose again to take the place of that which they’d fought so bitterly to defeat? Had the Alliance and its various successors only succeeded in fueling war, as their most outspoken critics contended?

The Lurmen had accused the Jedi and New Republic of being only slightly less militaristic than the Empire. The Sylphe King of Sainte-EvanĂ«flore remarked that the Rebellion only fed the violence, “engorging the bloated death-worm that cares nothing for ideologies or sides.” The Nuiwit Council of Elders charged that “in war, there is no good and evil, only spilled blood and shattered bones, only darkness and death.” Even the famous Cody Sunn-Childe, who knew violence all too well, said that “War is the most fervent expression of the Father of Shadows, for it serves nought but him and those who serve him.”

As for the rest of the story, please check out the rest of Bongiorno’s website, and stay tuned for more exciting content on the and only SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM!

Welcome back to THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM!

You might have been wondering when I was going to make my next video.... so here it is: my Welcome to THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM introductory video!

This “trailer” was created using scenes from two Star Wars video games: BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic from 2009, and Electronic Arts/Dice Games’ Star Wars: Battlefront from 2014. Like my Star Wars: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – The Dark Times teaser trailer, I used Sullust scenes from Battlefront trailers and clips such as Battlefront Trailer - Star Wars Battlefront from Star Wars Celebration 2Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Launch TrailerStar Wars Battlefront: Fighter Squadron Mode Gameplay Trailer, and also The Battlefront Network's Star Wars Battlefront - OVERPOWER: FULL TRAINING MISSION: AT-ST GAMEPLAY. The scenes from The Old Republic all come from the first three trailers, Return, Hope, and Deceived, with all the scenes (and more) in my Star Wars: The Old Republic Photo Comic Editions trailer, coming tomorrow. The video was created (of course) using Windows Movie Maker 2.6, with Trap Music’s Star Wars – Imperial March Keyzee Trap Remix used for the audio. All in all, I think it’s a pretty warm welcome to any newcomers to this blog.... so please hit “Follow” button somewhere in the top-right corner of this page (only if you like this blog, of course), and please read my complete Star Wars: The Old Republic Photo Comic Editions series, each one of the five issues adapting one of the scenes in all five of The Old Republic trailers, as well as two more Photo Comics, two or three Preview Editions, a few Fan-Fiction stories, some LEGO Customs, and two trailers! Star Wars Original Comics #4: Prelude to Battle XX50

You are about to enter the greatest of all Sith Archives... THE SITH ARCHIVES OF DARTH FANDOM!

Here is a comic (well, it’s more of an advertisement than a comic book, but it still counts) that I created when I was 6 years old. It is a lead-up to a big event that I created called Battle XX50, which I also sometimes referred to as Battle XX50: Mix of Games (Just in case you didn't know, I am going to eventually incorporate the name Battle XX50 into my Chronicles of Telian Aieler storyline, although in this version, the story will be based around a group off Jedi's raid on Imperial Outpost XX50 on Tenos Qarak, the second of the Tenos System's explored planets.). It was originally going to be a crossover event between some of the Star Wars video games that I knew about, such as The Old Republic and The Force Unleashed, compiling the cinematics to create one story. It ended up not being so good, so I scrapped the idea, along with the script, although I did create a comic book adaptation, which I will post soon. Anyway, below is the link to the two-page prologue, so download if you want to, or just read it, or just print it, or just print and read it...
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1skt0Uop69RW5RKdGWtxegZS3_uNAi_F6/view?usp=sharing

This prologue edition begins with the A long time ago... Star Wars intro, and as I said before this is more of an advertisement that a comic book, with a story beginning with written text rather than a comic book panel. It reads a transmission from Anakin Skywalker to “Commander Rex,” (please note that my Star Wars: The Clone Wars knowledge was not the best, so I didn’t exactly know that he was a “Captain Rex...”) explaining that he will do the “501sts” (a.k.a. 501st Legion), “Kenobi” (he probably thought that if his master wasn’t there, he wouldn’t have to refer to him as “Master”) would do the “212ths” (a.k.a. 212th Battalion), and that Rex would do the phase 1s (a.k.a. Phase 1 Clone Troopers that are not in use, since this story takes place in 19 BBY, soon before Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) . There is then a random floating cube with six tilted lines on it, representing Hasbro’s Shadows of the Force Galactic Battle Game Dice, which I would always call a “Force Cube.” All of a sudden, Anakin is so shocked with the fact that “the battle was to be XX50” that he shouts out nine exclamation marks! The second page shows Boba Fett inspecting the damage that Starkiller’s clone caused in The Force Unleashed II video game, followed by a text box that appears to “want the battle to begin!,” also exclaiming that “XX50 must begin!” The last two thirds of the page show “BATTLE XX50‼‼‼” and 7 random names of Star Wars characters, some of which do not exist and are just names I invented on the spot when I created this prologue...

Thank you for reading and please be here for Star Wars: The Old Republic Knights of the Eternal Throne Betrayed Photo Comic Edition, the final issue in my series of Star Wars: The Old Republic Photo Comic Editions, coming to this exact Sith blog tomorrow, and, of course, may the Force be with you, always!

Star Wars Infinities: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – Lord Pseyth Preview Edition

Welcome back to the Sith Archives of Darth Fandom!

Sorry that I never posted my final The Old Republic Photo Comic! I've seen pretty busy with other things that I haven't really been able to focus on my blog and related stuff, so I promise that in a couple of days you WILL be able to read my fifth Photo Comic (P.S. The same goes with my upcoming Infinities Photo Comic, based on one the third issue in my Original Comics series!)!

Back to the point, this is my third Star Wars preview story, leading up to one of my upcoming stories. The basis of this story is just an alternate reality of what could possibly happen to some key Star Wars characters after the secret ending (YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE FOR THE SECRET ENDING!) of Star Wars: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – The Dark Times, which is the second installment to my Chronicles of Telian Aieler event! Just so I don't spoil the ending, I have carefully written this story so it doesn't reveal the ending of The Dark Times (if you are a very clever fan, e-mail me at darth.fandom@gmail.com so I can see what you think the ending to The Dark Times is going to be about!)

To read the preview, either follow the link below, or read the rest of the post!

Somewhere in the Unknown Regions, 17 BBY

“We shall be seen again.” He stood forth before his master, who had died 3,000 years ago. “Although they think we do not exist, they shall be proven wrong.” He stood up and faced the light that shone behind him. “I have successfully killed off the other threats. They held much potential as our servants, put they have proven themselves to be too weak.” He sighed. “Now we must fight for ourselves, for domination over this pitiful galaxy.” He placed his left hand on his chin. “This shall be a hard task for us. I do not know if we can live through this, but we must try.” CRACK! A small rock fell towards his head, only to be cracked by his clenched fist. “The Jedi, you may ask, where are they? There is a simple answer to that question. They have all been eliminated and no longer exist. Ha! They were never strong enough to fight us Sith Lords!” He through what was left of the rock onto the ground. It smashed into minute pieces. He started to walk around this place, wondering about everything happening. First of all, he didn’t actually know how he was here anyway, and besides that, he just wondered about the many questions of the universe.  He scratched his head a few times, and then finally stopped moving around. “Although I have eliminated some of our powerful enemies, there are still many more across this galaxy.” He stared at the ground for a short while. “I am surprised how many there truly are to fight, but I know that together we can destroy them.” He went quiet. “All of them,” he whispered. He then began pacing around again, not thinking of what he was doing. He stuck his finger at his master. “Right now, nobody knows that we are hidden here in this forbidden place. Soon, though, they will know everything and come to hunt us down.” He pulled his finger away from his master. “You wouldn’t want that, surely.” He turned his head away. “Starting from today, I shall terminate the very essence of these threats from the silk of this galaxy.” He turned back to the shadowy figure behind him. “And I shall start with the creature who many are frightened of. He appears to be highly ranked in the fledgling Empire—” He paused. “—And many know him as Darth Vader...”

If you enjoyed this preview, please check out my two other Preview Editions, Star Wars Infinities: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – Darth Saidgge, an alternate reality (similar to this one) in which Darth Saidgge, well, erm, I don't really want to give away what's going to happen, since, erm, it does sort of involve the ending of The Dark Times, and there's also Star Wars: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – The Clone Wars Preview Edition, the first fragment of the Chronicles of Telian Aieler event (Please also note that each cover to each preview gives you a small clue to what is going to or has happened in this story, just in case you want another nudge to what each story might be about)! As for the Photo Comics, there are already about three or four planned, as well as some upcoming LEGO Customs by me, some more trailers, and two awesome crossovers that, I think, are going to be pretty darn awesome (Here's a clue to each one: (NO SPOILERS) and (NO SPOILERS), so hopefully that will help you figure out what each story is!), so don't miss out on AAANNNYYY of it... Anyway, please PLEASE PLEASE comment or e-mail me (you should know my e-mail by now) about any of my creations (I would really REALLY REALLY like some feedback on my stuff), and also, if you want, feel free to ask me to create a story/photo comic/something I usually do so I can post it on my blog! Another thing I would really REALLY REALLY like to see are some Opening Crawls using my step-by-step! My father (a.k.a. Darth Saidgge) has already created one for Star Wars: Episode XX – The Search for General Veers, which I will definitely post soon! So see you soon!

The Dunes of Peace, Lethor Major, 21 BBY

“So this is Lethor Major.” Obi-Wan Kenobi crouched down to the window at his knee height. “I had never heard about this place before, until today.” He laid his hand to his side and forced himself back up. As the engines roared through the smooth breeze of the air, Obi-Wan muttered to himself. “A shame I had not known about this before...” The strange vehicle soared through the clean skies, the sand below migrating across the landscape. The creature who piloted the vehicle, Tenessi Allulehh, was a tall and handsome man, although his knowledge was not as dashing and beautiful as his face. His co-pilot, Venuzen Cappron, did more hard work than his partner, however. They had both graduated from pilot school ten years ago, Allulehh only being there on a bursary. “We’ll be at your needed destination any time now, Mr...” “Kenobi.” Allulehh flicked his hair backwards and smirked. Obi-Wan’s facial expression altered slightly. He seemed to sense something, but for once, he didn’t want to investigate it. The Jedi Master turned back to where he was facing before, only to hear a sudden brake in the engine power. Cappron shifted his head directly to Allulehh, who struck another grin. “What did you just do?” he shouted. BOOM! One of the engines exploded and flew into mid-air! Obi-Wan leaped to the control panel at the front of the vehicle, only to see Cappron tugging onto his blood-stained torso. There was nobody else around the scene. Obi-Wan smacked the control panel. “I should have seen this coming!” He turned away from Cappron’s dying body, only to see Allulehh about to pounce him. He held a large machete in his right hand, but knew he was no match for a Jedi. Obi-Wan swung his lightsaber across the pilot’s wrist, and then through his stomach. The man stuttered, and then fell to the ground. Obi-Wan inspected the body. He couldn't see anything dangerous, until he turned over the body. A ticking bomb about to blow! The Jedi smashed open the nearest window and dove straight into the sand. A second later, there was a huge explosion, and pieces of the vehicle went flying all over the show. Obi-Wan heaved himself up. “There must be something more to this...”

If you enjoyed this story, PLEASE check out my Star Wars Infinities: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – Darth Saidgge Preview Edition, the lead-up to a certain alternate reality in which Darth Saidgge literally beats (NO SPOILERS) at becoming the (NO SPOILERS)! Also be here for the rest of this story and that story, and also the Preview Edition of Star Wars Infinities: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – Lord Pseyth, an alternate tale of what could possibly happen to Pseyth after he (NO SPOILERS) and the trouble that he causes! Anyway, thank you for reading my stories, and leave a comment on this post, or drop me an e-mail (p.s. if you didn't know, my e-mail is darth.fandom@gmail.com, so if you want to talk Star Wars or say something about this blog, don't be shy!), whether you are a critic who will only say bad things about what I seem to like or not, so see you soon!
