Star Wars Original Comics #3: Infinities – The Phantom Menace / The Force Unleashed II

Here's a nice comic book: a mash-up between the 1999 prequel movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and the 2010 LucasArts videogame Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.... This might sound kind of weird, although I think (at least when I created it) it's pretty cool! It's a two-page fully drawn mix between these two media items, and the link is below, so you can read it download, print it, and do whatever you want with it (except delete it from my archive. My SithWay insurance does not pay for lost artifacts in my archive....)

There is no cover to this story, although it does have a rather strange opening sequence. The story begins with a "meanwhile" scene, even though there hasn't been any previous section to this story.... Anyway, the first frame also depicts an escape pod-like vehicle soaring through the rain of Kamino (based on the arrival of Boba Fett scene in The Force Unleashed II). On the right of the pod is the word "ahb," which is most likely just another jumbled-letter word (see also Star Wars Original Comics #2: The Old Republic) in the Aurebesh language. The next frame jumps to Boba Fett in front of the open wall in the Kamino base (Starkiller breaks this wall open after electrocuting Darth Vader with Force lightning in the video game) ordering the Trade Federation droid troops to (most likely) destroy the Gungan troops who are also on the plains of Naboo. An OOM-9 responds "roger roger" to the command, just as (in the next frame) a door cracks open in an awkwardly similar way to that of Darth Vader pursuing Starkiller on Kamino in The Force Unleashed II and reveals Darth Maul, "Master of the Force." As usual, a droid replies with "roger that." All of a sudden, a lightsaber randomly floats in the air, and what appears to be a large bird grasping a pistol shoots at what appears to be Earth's sun, Sol. Amazingly, the "space starship got hit," apparently losing only a small chunk of armoury. One of the Naboo starfighters celebrates to Bravo Leader, as the the "space starship that got hit" finally gets scribbled out of existence by a pencil in desperate need of a sharpening.

Thank you for reading Part 3 in my Original Comics series, and please be here for the Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Fallen Empire – Sacrifice Photo Comic Edition, my Photo Comic Edition of this very comic, and my Preview Edition of Star Wars: Chronicles of Telian Aieler – The Clone Wars, all coming soon to a specific Force-enabled Sith blog near you!
